Properties
Family of chemical substances used for non-stick coatings under many brand names and qualities (Silverstone®, Teflon® etc.). The quality of the base coat and the basis material is decisive. Non-stick property and mechanical resistance are opposites that cannot be reconciled. The service life depends decisively on how carefully the surfaces are treated. Permanently damaged from +280°C, thus never overheat the pans - not even for a short time; wood or steel utensils should not be used on non-stick surfaces: only use soft food turners made of nylon!
